Location

After a few misdirections, we found a wonderful place to celebrate this marriage. The Barn at Memorial Park in Evergreen is a conglomeration of five old ("antique," some might say) local barns. Stained glass windows and some really cute baby bison round out the picture. The ceremony will be outside on the lawn and the reception will be inside that lovely old barn.

Directions To Evergreen Memorial Park & Recreation Association (EMP&RA)

From I-70: At Evergreen Parkway go 8 miles to Evergreen, turn right (south) onto Hwy. 73 at the stoplight below Evergreen Lake. Follow Hwy. 73 for 4 miles and turn left (east) onto N. Turkey Creek Road.The Park entrance will be the first turn to the right past the Conference Baptist Church. The facility will be 1/2 mile on the south side, across from Marshall Elementary School.

From Hwy. 285: North Turkey Creek Rd. is the second major right hand turn after entering the mountains (about 6 miles from the C-470 interchange). Off of Hwy. 285 turn right onto N. Turkey Creek Road. Follow N. Turkey Creek Rd. 5-1/2 miles. The facility will be on the left-hand side of the road, across the street from Marshdale School. It is NOT the Baptist Church on the corner of N. Turkey Creek Road and Hwy. 73. For those who will not enjoy a canyon road, or if it is snowing, continue on Hwy. 285 to Conifer (about 7 miles past N. Turkey Creek Road, turn right (north) and follow Hwy. 73 for 4 miles to N. Turkey Creek Road. Turn right on N. Turkey Creek Rd. and go 1/2 mile.
